Day 1: Nairobi- Lake Nakuru
Pick up from the hotel after breakfast and drive to Lake Nakuru, Lake Nakuru Lodge is situated in the heart of one of Kenya's most densely populated wetland National Parks, (Ramsar site) only two leisurely hours' drive from Nairobi, through beautiful forested uplands and passing a series of lakes. On the outskirts of the bustling market town of Nakuru lies a truly remarkable national park which has achieved international fame. Both black and white rhino are being given a new lease of life in this 188 sq km, fully-fenced park - and they are carefully protected. The present rhino population is over 50 and continuing to multiply. The Rothschilds giraffe is another rarity and the park has its fair share of buffalo, leopard, zebra, eland, waterbuck and lion.
Day 2:Lake Nakuru- Lake Naivasha
After break fast ,prepare yourself for a drive to Lake Naivasha, located on the rims of the Great Rift Valley. Lunch will be on-route, and the afternoon can be spent game viewing. Other options are a boat trip, combined with a nature walk on Crescent Island, go for bird viewing around the Lake or pay a visit to nearby Crater Lake Sanctuary also enjoy boat rides, horse riding and bicycle riding. Have dinner and overnight at the Lake Naivasha Lodge.
Day 3:Lake Naivasha - Mara Sopa Lodge
After breakfast, drive further south west through the floor of the great rift valley (optional boat ride to lake Naivasha – freshwater lake with a picturesque view of Mount Longonot, hippos, over 400 species of birds on the island including pelicans, African fish eagles, African darter, cormorants and the lesser flamingos which are migratthe lodge for lunch. Afternoon game drive in the vast Mara plains in search for the predators such the lions with dark manes, cheetahs, leopard and many herbivores especially during the yearly migration of wildebeest between July – September. Dinner and overnight at Mara Serena Lodge/ Keekorok Lodge.
Day 4:Masai Mara Full Day
A full day Mara excursion will take you deep inside the reserve showing an abundance of wild animals on the golden grasslands. In the morning you start the day with a game drive, have breakfast, than depart for a full day game viewing including lunch in the bush. . Be back in your lodge late in the afternoon.
Day 5: Maasai Mara Full Day
Today is another full day exploring Masai Mara. You may opt to make an exiting balloon flight(extra) in the early morning hours, an experience on itself, to view the Mara from an elevated position, or visit a Masai Village in between meals and game drive or just relax by the pool in the afternoon. A day in Masai Mara ends with campfire, sharing stories about your events and sights of the day, while the sounds of the African savannah make you doze you to sleep.
Day 6: Maasai Mara- Nairobi
Early morning game drive. Breakfast followed by mid-morning at leisure. Early lunch and thereafter transfer to the airstrip for your flight to back to Nairobi.
